It’s over 20 hours of dramatic and evocative narration and performance that truly brings the stories and characters to life!

I just have to stop here for a moment and tell you about the whole process of working with Elizabeth!  She was one of the first who auditioned for reading my book, Purebred, so I could tell she was really passionate about the book and its subject matter.  Elizabeth’s audition easily put her well above any others in terms of characterization and the believability of not only her female characters, but the male characters she voiced!  When speaking with her on the phone, I could tell she was going to be perfect for my book because she asked just the right questions and never took anything for granted.  My book has many words and names that aren’t common, and Elizabeth took pains to make sure she was getting everything just the way I wanted it.  Purebred required someone to voice the characters from childhood to adult, and she did a truly marvelous job of “growing” the characters.  I’ll honestly tell you that Elizabeth’s pace of work is absolutely blinding – I would get home several nights a week and find not only one but two chapters ready for review!  She responded to my requests for edit changes professionally and happily and was, thankfully, very accepting of places where the error was truly mine, but I still wanted her to make the change.  I have nothing but praise for the job she did, and I am very much looking forward to doing another book with her very soon!

If you’re wondering if the list price (hovering somewhere around $25 – $30) is worth it, I can only tell you that Elizabeth made me laugh, cheer, and cry by the effectiveness of her performance, and that’s just it – it’s not simple narration.  Elizabeth performed these characters authentically and with heartfelt emotion.  I will be indebted to her forever for bringing my characters to life.  Also, I’m giving Elizabeth full permission to use any of the above statements in her own advertising, because I think everyone should know when there is a real talent with such a sweet spirit in the world.

I truly hope you enjoy Purebred in the printed form, eBook form, and (especially) the audio-book form, and I look forward to even more!

See you in the future!
