Time for just a quick update. Work on the Kindle version of The Rescue has actually gone rather well, and – more or less – it’s ready. I’m working on final validations for the paperback version (I had to do a little compression of the distance between lines to make it affordable). Hopefully, by Tuesday, that proof should be in my hands, and I will be able to give that as a gift to someone, and make the book commonly available. To do that, I’ll have to work on the preview, fine tune the keywords, but that’s really about it. When I tested the pages on my printer, the compressed version still seemed quite readable to me (even without using my progressive lenses). I’m hoping the proof will display the same result.
I still need to validate the iPad/iPhone version KindleGen creates, just to make sure that version is okay, but getting it to import is a bit of bear. It’s my project for the day, if I have any time. Prayers continue that my paths are true, as far as doing the right things.
Thanks and take care…
