PUBLISHING DIARY: The eBooks are out to the editors! Consequently, that also means 
that the eBook is ready for me to edit! So… I have reclaimed one of the tablets in the house and loaded everything up. Also, I have some initial feedback on the cover, and it’s clear that my first go had good points and not so good points. The emotional reaction to a cover is important, and if someone thinks that a cover aspect is “scary” when it’s really not supposed to be means I’ve got it wrong and need to pull back for a second look. The great news here is that my artist friends are helping me out on this, and so with their guidance, I should be able to get to a reasonable end-product!
Now, editing is going to proceed as fast as I can, but you have to understand that when the books were converted from text to MP3, the length of the MP3 files was … well, one full day of listening – like 24 hours! Sooo… getting through it in a weekend is NOT happening. It may take me the better part of a month to get through it, and that’s even with my writing efforts trying to wrap up this trilogy by finishing the first draft of the third manuscript! My oh my how much work this is!
