I’ve said it before, and I’m probably not going to be done saying it for a long, long time, but I am so very thoroughly pleased (and sometimes downright tickled) by Elizabeth’s performance. Having spoken to her directly, this week, she continues to be enthused and engaged in the project and really enjoying the material! I’m currently looking at a few different possible songs from “Royalty Free Kings” to act as the lead in and closers for the book (the “bumps” I believe they are called). I think the track “Evidence” is a potential one, but if anyone wants to poke around and make suggestions, I’ll certainly take them! We collectively need to decide on a five minute portion of the book that would best for the “retail sample.” If you have any ideas, please post them on the Thurian Saga page on Facebook, and I’ll take them into consideration!
I’m also happy to report that the kind reader who offered changes (now published!) to The Rescue, has again come through with great observations and suggestions for The Aftermath! These are now “on my list,” and I’ll get to them soon. He also left a very positive and thoughtful review!
I am also happy to report that, as of right now, I believe I have all of the logistics for The Summit “Like and Share” campaign put together, and I can even announce a tentative date – April 10th. Why so long? Well, I have to wait for certain “exclusive” agreements to lapse (they are in force for 90 days), and then that first weekend is Easter, which is a bad choice, I think. I’m still talking to some friends and other artists about what might work best, so consider these plans to be in very firm, but freshly poured, cement.
Oh, and what about writing? Well, yeah, that’s happening again, too! I believe I just finished Chapter 17 of Beyond 2. The working title that’s floating in my head right now is Beyond: Revelation with the subsequent book of the series (which might or might not be the last book of this arc, who knows!) as Beyond: Transformation. (I might go with Beyond: Transfiguration, but that might be too much complexity.)
There have also been a few updates to the website, mostly security and caching changes, hoping to make things run a little better. As for now, that’s about it! I hope you are all well and staying safe in this very cold winter!
See you in the future!
