When someone reads one of my books and likes them, I ask if they would be willing to share a positive quote about the book, something I can put on the splash page of the website. We are such a review-driven society now (think about major shopping sites “reviews” sections with stars, etc., and even whole web sites dedicated to nothing but), that reviews are almost a necessity to help encourage others to dig a little deeper and perhaps try one of the books on their own.
What I would also share is that these comments have made me very grateful. It’s a wonderful affirmation that (at least a few people) believe I’m not wasting my time with these books, and that I have such great and wonderful friends who have so graciously offered praise. I also have a measure of guilt about them. Because of the space on the splash page, I’m limited on how much of their offering I can use.
I’m planning on making a page just for just the quotes, although it may take me some time to figure out exactly how to set it up. In the meantime, just please let me express, again, my gratitude to those who have given me such wonderful feedback and allowed me to share it. I am truly blessed.
